Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967 at Atlanta. Her family is the fourth Roberts family that been a resident of Atlanta. This started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Her father had an early interest in stage. As a student in Emory University he appeared in numerous productions on and off campus. In 1953, he joined the Air Force and while stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a show that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in the year 1957. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. In 1960, the family relocated from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou established the Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted 6 years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) during this period.
