Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress, born and was raised at home in Orange County. At the age of 5, she emigrated from Morocco to California. She graduated in 2015 from University of California San Diego and received her first big break acting. Pernas was a small part in NCIS and Leverage. Then she landed the part of Marisa at The Young and the Restless. The actress, who quit the soap in 2016 was cast in the role as Catalina who is a regular character on Jane the Virgin. The model who speaks several languages is now on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. The role she played as Lexi Vaziri was on Blood & Treasure between the year 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas is engaged to Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. This is Us' star Pernas began dating Justin Hartley following her breakup with Chrishell Stause, who she had been married to since November of 2019. In May 2021, news was reported that Pernas Hartley had recently married in secret.
