LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born 30 December 1984 - is a professionally-trained American basketball star. King James, he's widely thought of as the best athlete of all time and has often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the best basketball player ever. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVPs Three All-Star MVPs, and two Olympic medals. James has earned the second most career goals and seventh most assists. James has been named as an NBA All-Star 18 times. James is part of the NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams, and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times consecutively between 2011 and 2018, He was also picked for The NBA 75th Anniversary team. James was named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. James became the first NBA player with 10,000 points, 10 rebounds and an assist in 2022. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. The national media celebrated James as an NBA superstar. As a prep to pro, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick in the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the top league players by winning an NBA MVP Award in 2009 and 2010. James signed a free-agent contract following his failure to earn championships in Cleveland. The decision to quit Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent moves in sports history.
