LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known for his role as King James and is considered to be among the most successful basketball players in history. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the holder of the most score of points in the postseason, second highest overall career score and 7th highest number of career assists. James is a member of 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All-NBA Teams, and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James has played in ten NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between the years of 2011 and 2018. James was picked as a part of the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player to ever score 10,000 or higher career points. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed him as an NBA player of the year. He was a pro-prep player and was selected as the highest selection by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly became one of league's top players, and won the NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James was a free agency in 2010 after failing to win championships with Cleveland. The decision to quit Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent actions in sports history.
