Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. She is the daughter of an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. She was the first born of a household that included six children. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six and the family relocated from the city of Victoria within London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to learn English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was required to take her. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. After 16 she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
